Twin island nation may soon have permanent presence in China

Antigua and Barbuda is to have a permanent presence in the People’s Republic of China.

That’s according to Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Dr. the Hon. Baldwin Spencer.

He made this revelation while announcing the 2013 scholarship recipients on Friday .

The Prime Minister said that the People’s Republic of China has been an excellent diplomatic partner.

Antigua and Barbuda presently has a non-resident ambassador to China, H.E. David Shoul.
