SUSPECTED DENGUE CASES ON THE RISE
Suspected cases of Dengue Fever are on the rise.
That’s the word coming from the Ministry of Health. Minister Molwyn Joseph says residents must do their part to prevent contracting the disease.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rhonda Sealey-Thomas says the public must do its part to control the mosquito environment by elimination breeding sites.
It’s a tip Health Minister Joseph says is not being taken as seriously as it should.
In the meantime, persons operating fogging machines are complaining young people are throwing stones at the workers.
Ministry officials say the practice is dangerous and urges offenders to stop.
