PM ON CONCESSIONAL FINANCING

Prime Minister Gaston Browne again laments the country’s challenge in accessing concessional funding to build climate resilience.
While at the International Conference on Population and Development meeting in Kenya, Prime Minister Browne says the country faces this challenge.
He says building a more climate resilient nation carries a hefty price tag especially since the country has been excluded from concessional funding.
This is because the twin- island state is now considered a middle- income country- a categorization The Prime Minister says should be reconsidered.
