PM BROWNE ADDRESSES UN SECURITY COUNCIL AS CHAIR OF AOSIS

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne addressed the United Nations Security Council today, providing a sobering assessment of the threat posed by climate change.
Prime Minister Browne addressed the powerful 15-member body in his capacity as Chair of the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS).
The Security Council convened an open debate under the theme “Addressing Climate-related risks to international peace and security”.
