PS PILGRIM CONFIRMS MINISTER WESTON’S RELEASE FROM HOSPITAL
We can confirm that Works Minister the Hon. Lennox Weston is now out of hospital.
Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister’s Office Ambassador Lionel Hurst says the Minister was discharged from Mount St. John’s Medical Centre Tuesday evening.
He says Minister Weston is at home and doing well.
The Works Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Clarence Pilgrim welcomes the news.
The Permanent Secretary says the Minister’s illness did not prevent him from contributing to the Ministry’s work.
Ambassador Hurst says Minister Weston was kept under observation for several days after he was admitted in late February.
The government previously reported a test revealed the Minister had NOT contracted the coronavirus as was initially suspected.
