PRIME MINISTER OPINES ON CHOKSI

Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne says Indian-born diamond mogul Mehul Choksi has formally reported his alleged kidnapping to local investigators.

The Prime Minister says Choksi has also named suspects he believes are involved in the crime.

The Prime Minister made the comments Saturday on his weekly radio program on Pointe FM.
Choksi, who acquired Antiguan & Barbudan citizenship through the CIP, is in Dominica, facing an illegal entry charge.
Dominican media reported he would petition a High Court judge for bail tomorrow.
