KIERON POLLARD RULED OUT OF PAKISTAN TOUR; REPLACEMENTS ANNOUNCED

West Indies white ball captain Kieron Pollard has withdrawn from the upcoming Pakistan tour amidst the continuing impact of a hamstring injury sustained in the recent T20 World Cup.

The Cricket West Indies selection panel has named Antiguan Devon Thomas as the replacement in the One-Day International squad while allrounder Rovman Powell is the replacement in the T20 International squad.

Nicholas Pooran will be captain in the T20Is and his vice captain will be Shai Hope; for the ODIs, Hope will be captain and Pooran vice captain.

The West Indies will play three T20Is and three ODIs in Pakistan from December 13 to 22.
