Executive Director of the Social Security Board, David Matthias assures efforts are being made to improve the timeliness of payments.
The Board has faced criticisms for late pension and short-term payments, especially since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Matthias tells ABS the fall-out from the pandemic had a major impact on the scheme’s intake of funds.
