Winter Season Update

Antigua and Barbuda is currently experiencing a relatively busy cruise winter season, with a number of vessels making calls to the nation’s Ports. President of the Antigua and Barbuda, Cruise Tourism Association, Nathan Dundas, says January, February and March will be peek months. He says one of the main objectives right now is for key stakeholders to develop creative and unique ways to increase the spending power of the cruise passengers.

Dundas is also encouraging store owners and taxi operators to make the effort and make their services available on Sundays to welcome those vessels who may periodically arrive on that day.

The Cruise Winter season began in late November 2013.
