CEJHAE GREENE MISSES OUT ON A SPOT IN SEMI-FINALS OF 100M AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Antigua and Barbuda’s Cejhae Greene missed out on a semi-final spot in the 100 meters at the World Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Greene placed 4th in the first of seven heats on day one of the championships on Friday and had been hoping to secure one of the three non-automatic qualifying spots based on time. However, his 10.17 seconds clocking was not fast enough to earn him a spot in the semis which will be contested on Saturday.
Antigua and Barbuda’s other participant in the championships is Joella Lloyd who will contest the 100m and 200m.
