Sir Steadroy Benjamin Commits to Treaty of San Jose

Public Safety Minister, Sir Steadroy Benjamin, will be bringing the Treaty of San Josè to the next parliament seating to be ratified.

He made the commitment during a consultative Workshop on the Treaty of San Josè earlier Monday.

This agreement concerns cooperation in suppressing illicit maritime and air trafficking in narcotics and psychotropic substances in the Caribbean Area 

Sir Steadroy adds the treaty will soon be enshrined in domestic law. 

This, he says, is a part of his goal for Antigua & Barbuda to be known for 5 S’s – Sun, Sand , Sea, Safety and Security.
