RESIDENTS URGED TO AID IN HUMAN TRAFFICKING FIGHT

Vigilance from members of the public is being seen as key if the country is to continue to make strides in tackling human trafficking.

Alverna Innis of the Antigua and Barbuda Trafficking in Persons Prevention Unit, is delivering that message to the public, as she reacts to the latest report from the US State Department.

The report indicates Antigua and Barbuda remains in tier two, comprising countries that do not fully meet the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking, but are making significant efforts to do so.
