ANTIGUAN AND BARBUDAN STUDENTS’ STAY AT PEGASUS EXTENDED
Category 5 Hurricane Melissa has turned what was expected to be a two-day stay at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel for Antiguan and Barbudan Students into 6 days.
It is part of an agreement between the Antigua and Barbuda Students Association and the government. The agreement reads, “Should things progress worse than expected, the length of stay can be extended, with an emergency evacuation arranged if needed.”
The number of students now in residence at the hotel has risen to over 50 from the original 46.
