LIAT AIR SUPPORTS JAMAICAN PASSENGERS IN THE WAKE OF HURRICANE MELISSA’S ONSLAUGHT

LIAT Air will allow all passengers heading to Jamaica an extra bag free of charge, once flights resume.

It is a gesture of support to passengers traveling to Jamaica, in the wake of the extensive destruction caused to the island by Hurricane Melissa.

LIAT’s Chief Executive Officer Hafsah Abdulsalam says the initiative recognizes that families may want to take additional supplies to loved ones affected by the hurricane.

The initiative will last for the remainder of the hurricane season.
