Beaches Turks And Caicos Adds 156 Rooms
Sandals Resorts continues in its impressive expansion efforts in the Caribbean with the latest milestone being unveiled in Turks and Caicos before a gathering of tourism ministers from across the Caribbean.
Beaches Turks and Caicos has expanded its reach with the addition of 156 rooms in its new Key West Village, taking the overall room complement in the British Overseas Territory to a stunning 756 rooms.
The property there opened its doors in 1997 and has expanded steadily allowing Beaches to offer one of the most enviable family vacations in the world.
TCI has undoubtedly been one of the most extraordinary destinations in the world.
The official opening of the new Village took place in typical Sandals fashion on May 18 and in the presence of local and regional governments, senior tourism officials and key Sandals personnel.
Chairman of Sandals Resorts International Gordon “Butch” Stewart said the journey to the weekend’s unveiling was indeed an “amazing” one with the people and government of Turks and Caicos being fully on board with the property since its entry into the territory over a decade ago.
