SENATOR LAMIN NEWTON URGES UPP TO CONDEMN VANDALISM OF APUA EQUIPMENT IN OLD ROAD
Government senator Lamin Newton is calling on the opposition United Progressive Party to condemn the criminal actions of the individual or individuals who set fire to APUA’s equipment in Old Road last week.
He said it is important that opposition leader, Jamale Pringle, who is member of parliament for the area, make it clear that lawlessness will not be tolerated.
Senator Newton, who is the ABLP’s caretaker for All Saints East and St Luke, was making his contribution to debate on the Appropriations Bill in Parliament’s Upper House on Tuesday.
