WORKERS AT SEVERAL HOTELS TO RECEIVE PAY INCREASE AS OF JANUARY 2026

Employees at several hotels are to receive an increase of $25.00 per week effective January 1, 2026.

The increase is a result of weeks of negotiations under the collective bargaining agreement between the Antigua Barbuda Workers Union and the Antigua Barbuda Hotel and Tourism Association.

The wage increase applies to workers at the Blue Waters Hotel, Carlisle Bay, Curtain Bluff, The Inn at English Harbour, Hawksbill, Hodges Bay Resort and Spa, Antigua Village, Coco Bay, Cocos, Hermitage Bay, Siboney Beach Club, Buccaneer, Heritage Hotel, Keyonna Beach Resort and Admiral’s Inn.

The agreement is the second weekly raise of $25.00 obtained for workers under the three-year collective bargaining agreement which expires on December 31, 2027.
