GHANAIAN NURSES TO ARRIVE IN A&B NEXT WEEK
One hundred and twenty nurses from Ghana are set to arrive in Antigua and Barbuda on January 23 to strengthen the public healthcare system. The government says the highly-trained professionals will support the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, community clinics and schools.
Cabinet received an update from Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph during its meeting on Wednesday. Cabinet also reiterated its commitment to continued training of nurses at the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus to ensure a sustainable and self-reliant health sector.
