CABINET PLEASED WITH INCREASED WATER PRODUCTION

The government has confirmed that Antigua and Barbuda’s water production is now at an all-time high, as officials prepare for the official commissioning of the newest reverse osmosis plant at Barnacle Point. The plant is the second to have been installed by US-based Seven Seas Water Group, and is producing upwards of two million gallons of potable water daily.

Cabinet says focus continues on improving storage and distribution, including replacing ageing pipes to reduce leaks and ensure more reliable supply for residents.

ABS will have live coverage of the official opening ceremony for the new reverse osmosis plant on Friday, January 16 at 2pm.
