RATE OF ABST TO BE TEMPORARILY REDUCED TO TACKLE INFLATION
Cabinet has announced it has approved a 10-percentage-point reduction in the Antigua and Barbuda Sales Tax between the second and third quarters of 2026. The Government says this is part of ongoing efforts to cushion cost-of-living pressures faced by households. It is also aimed at stimulating consumer spending.
Cabinet says the implementation date and other details are to be communicated by the Inland Revenue Department in due course.
