CET SUSPENSION SLASHES PRICES OF SOME FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

The Prices and Consumer Affairs Division says the temporary suspension of the Common External Tariff has started to provide relief to consumers of some imported foods.

Consumers are already seeing this reduction on some imported fruits and vegetables.

However, the Division is concerned these price reductions are not uniform across all retail outlets.
