ABIA CHIEF EYES COMMONWEALTH INVESTMENT
The Executive Director of the Antigua Barbuda Investment Authority (ABIA) wants entrepreneurs across the country to conceptualize climate-positive and sustainable projects to capitalize of multilateral investment dollars.
Garfield Joseph, who is in London this week for several investment conferences, also says collaboration among intra-government agencies in Antigua & Barbuda is needed to help transform these innovations into bankable, investment-ready projects.
Joseph was speaking to our news team early Tuesday on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Investment (CIN) Summit, which is being convened from March 9-16, 2026, under the theme ‘Unlocking investment in Commonwealth Small Island Developing States’. The CIN, led by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), aims to strengthen investment opportunities for Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
