A&B Contributes US$200K to CARICOM’s Aid Package to Cuba
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has committed US$200,000 to the Caricom initiative to provide critical humanitarian assistance to Cuba.
Caricom countries have agreed to collaborate with Mexico to provide urgently-needed supplies to the beleaguered Caribbean nation, which has been reeling from an oil blockade by the Trump administration.
Director-General of Communications in the Prime Minister’s Office, Maurice Merchant, provided the update during Thursday’s post-cabinet media briefing.
