A&B SEEKS TO BENEFIT FROM US FUNDING FOR REGIONAL PORT DEVELOPMENT

Antigua and Barbuda is positioning itself to take advantage of millions of dollars in United States funding for Caribbean port development.

Chief Executive Officer of the Port Authority and chairman of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean, Darwin Telemaque, has been instrumental in those talks.

He led a regional delegation at a US State Department roundtable in Washington this week, coming away with concrete financing opportunities for the local port.
