Police Charge Three Following Search Warrant Operations in Parham 

St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, August 14, 2026

The police have arrested and charged three residents of Parham with firearm, ammunition, and drug-related offences following a series of search warrant operations conducted in the community earlier this week.

The arrests stemmed from several search warrants executed by members of the Criminal Investigations Department Task Force and the K-9 Unit during the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 12.

As a result of the operations, 40-year-old Harold Joseph and 33-year-old Kerah Mack, both of Parham, were jointly charged with Unlawful Possession of 491 grams of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of 491 grams of Cannabis with Intent to Transfer.

Atanie Browne of Parham was arrested and subsequently charged with Unlawful Possession of a Taurus G2C 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol and Unlawful Possession of nineteen (19) rounds of 9mm ammunition. Police also recovered two 9mm spent shells during the operation.

All three accused are expected to appear before the court sometime today, Friday, August 14, to answer to the respective charges.

These operations form part of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda’s ongoing crime-fighting strategy aimed at disrupting criminal activity and removing illegal firearms, ammunition, and controlled substances from communities across the country.

The Police Administration continues to assure the public that targeted intelligence-led operations, search warrants, mobile patrols, and other proactive policing measures will continue as part of its sustained efforts to strengthen public safety and address serious and organized criminal activity.

The police is also offering a cash reward to anyone who provide credible information leading to the recovery and seizure of illegal firearms and ammunition and/or the arrest and successful prosecution of persons involved in their unlawful possession, use, trafficking, or concealment.

Members of the public are therefore encouraged to support these efforts by reporting information concerning illegal firearms, ammunition, drugs, or other criminal activities to the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
