A&B SAYS UNITED STATES WOULD COVER TCN COSTS UNDER PROPOSED AGREEMENT

Antigua and Barbuda is only willing to accept third-country nationals from fellow Caricom states, except for Haiti, or nationals of Brazil and Colombia.

It is one of the twin-island state’s stipulations, as it continues talks with the United States on the possible acceptance of no more than 7 of these individuals per quarter.

The government released detailed documents to the media this week, outlining its counter-proposals to Washington.

The 7-page document outlines who would be accepted, under what circumstances and how they would be financed.
