Government In Negotiations With A Company From The UK That Wants To Produce Medical Supplies

Government has entered negotiations with a company from the United Kingdom that wants to produce medical supplies in Antigua & Barbuda.

The medical supplies are for the local market and the rest of the OECS.

The prime minister’s Chief of Staff, Lionel Max Hurst says representatives of the group met with Cabinet Wednesday and members were very interested in what they were hearing.

Hurst says government is excited about the prospect of merchandise being manufactured in the country, as it means more jobs for citizens.
