An Appeal For Assistance For Barbuda’s Fire Victims

A one room galvanized structure in Barbuda was destroyed by fire, Sunday night about 9:30 pm.The dwelling place was own by Alba Punter and his brother Robi Punter.The occupants lost everything in the fire. This is the second fire in one month.Chairman of the Barbuda Council, Fabian Jones says, Barbudans desperately needs a new efficient fire truck.He also mentioned the Government of Antigua and Barbuda is in the process of receiving a brand new fire truck for the sister island.But hopes that they receive the said new truck and not an old one. This he says is the habitual practice of the Government.
