The Principals of Paradise Found Project Set To Meet With Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne

A series of high-level talks are set for later today on ways to accelerate the US$250-million Paradise Found project in Barbuda.

The principals of the company – American movie icon, Robert De Niro and Australian billionaire, James Packer, are already in St John’s for the talks with Prime Minister. Hon Gaston Browne.

Browne says he wants to explore ways to speed-up the project.

Paradise Found has purchased the K-Club lease in Barbuda and it has acquired additional lands to do its tourism development that will include a high end cottage hotel as well as private villas for the wealthy.

The project was approved by the people of Barbuda but the Barbuda People’s Movement wants the court to declare the voting process null and void.

The High Court turned down the BPM’s application…but the party has since appealed to the Appeals Court.
