Pension Payments

Cash flow challenges within the country’s Social Security Scheme continue to affect timely payments to pensioners.

Confirmation comes from Director of the Antigua Barbuda Social Security Board, David Matthias. He says as a result, pensioners are receiving their due monies late each month.

He adds, however, that it’s no fault of the scheme, but rather a reflection of the economic activity in the country.
