The Country’s Attorney General Mulls The Possibility Of Another Increase In The Country’s Minimum Wage
The country’s attorney general says there will be increased discussions on minimum wage.
Minister of Legal Affairs and Labour, the Hon. Steadroy “Cutie” Benjamin, says this will form part of plans to create a different and more effective industrial climate.
He believes that 8 dollars and 20 cents per hour is not adequate on any basis, considering the country’s cost of living and other factors.
Benjamin says there has to be careful determination as to how often increases should take place.
