Antigua And Barbuda’s Energy Conservation Mission Has Moved Another Major Step With The Completion Of A 3 Mega Watt Solar Farm

Construction on the first phase of the 3 Mega Watt Solar Photovoltaic Solar Farm at the south western boundary of the V.C. Bird International Airport is completed.

It places Antigua and Barbuda well on the way as a leader in energy conservation in the entire sub-region.

The next step is to have the facility connected to the country’s national energy grid.

This project forms part of a larger 10 Mega Watt initiative being implemented by the government of Antigua and Barbuda.
