A&B OFFICIALS TO HOLD FRESH TALKS WITH JET BLUE NEXT WEEK

Tourism Minister Hon. Charles Fernandez says talks will be held with officials of Jet Blue next week, as the US-based carrier prepares to end service to Antigua and Barbuda as of October 31, 2026.

The Minister says the government will be looking for any possibility that the airline could reverse its decision.

The minister told ABS in an exclusive interview on Tuesday, “Whatever it is we need to do that we can do, without jeopardizing the whole aspect of the business model, we are prepared to do it.”

He however conceded that it is difficult to “re-do a route.”
