GOVERNMENT TO DISTRIBUTE RECLAIMED FARMLANDS

Agriculture minister Hon. Anthony Smith Jr has announced that over 600 acres of agricultural land are being made available to place into production, after being reclaimed from unproductive farmers.

It is part of the government’s thrust to increase local food security, amid a fraught geopolitical climate.

The minister was a guest on ‘Agriculture on the Move’ on ABS Radio 90.5 FM.
