ACTING INSPECTOR VELDON RAGGUETTE RECEIVES REGIONAL AWARD

There has been another proud moment for Antigua and Barbuda on the regional stage.

Acting Inspector Veldon Ragguette has been awarded the top prize in Caribbean Community Policing.

The announcement was made during the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police in the Cayman Islands, where Acting Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney is in attendance.

Acting Inspector Ragguette was presented with a trophy while the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has received 5 thousand US dollars or some 13-thousand 5-hundred EC dollars on account of the award.
Acting Inspector Ragguette is Co-ordinator of the government’s Home Advancement Programme for the Indigent or HAPI initiative.
He also started the Adopt-a-Family charity which has provided support for several families in need.
