Antigua & Barbuda has scored 83 out of a possible 100 in the latest Freedom of the World Index.

It’s a rating that remains unchanged from 2025.  The Freedom House Report uses a methodology where each country and territory is assigned between 0 and 4 points on a series of 25 indicators, for an aggregate score of up to 100.  Antigua & Barbuda remains firmly in the ‘Free’ category. The country scored 32 out of 40 for political rights and 51 out of 60 for civil liberties.
