Number Portability To Be Rolled Out Next Month

Antigua and Barbuda is moving closer to implementing number portability as Cabinet confirmed the system is now expected to take effect by next month.

The long-awaited change, first outlined in legislation passed in 2018, will allow mobile users to switch between providers such as Flow, Digicel, and APUA INET, while keeping their existing phone numbers.

In addition to number portability, Government is also exploring the entry of new internet service providers into the local market.
