ANTIGUAN STUDENTS RETURN FROM CUBA

Over 30 Antiguans studying in Cuba were repatriated last night on a special charter flight. The flight landed at the VC Bird International Airport shortly after 12. The students have been eager to return since the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. They will be quarantined for the standard 14 days. Meanwhile, other Antiguan students have chosen to remain in Cuba and their relatives sent supplies for them when the flight transported Cubans stranded in Antigua on Monday morning.
