ARE CBI PROGRAMMES DOOMED BY EXTERNAL PRESSURE? – ECONOMIST OPINES

Economist and principal of the University of the West Indies Fives Islands Campus, Professor C. Justin Robinson says the five countries in the region operation Citizenship by Investment Programmes must push to maintain them, while also preparing for life without them.

His comments come as European Commission gives the Antigua and Barbuda and four fellow OECS countries a two-year ultimatum to end the programmes, or face restrictions to the Schengen Area.
