SOCIAL WORKERS FACE THREATS, HURDLES IN CHILD ABUSE RESPONSE

Those tasked with protecting the nation’s children are sharing harrowing accounts of the perils and pitfalls they face while carrying out their duties.

Director of the Family and Social Services Division, Feona Charles-Richards and Social Services Manager at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, Dr Sequoyah Survia, outlined the concerns during a child protection townhall at John E. St Luce Conference Centre on Tuesday.
