Barbudan Man Arrested & Charged

A Barbudan man was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder on Monday.

Santana Charles, 30 of Barbuda was charged for allegedly wounding a fellow Barbudan man with intent to murder.

Police say the incident took place at a club on the sister Isle, Saturday night.

He was slapped with an additional charge of Escaping Lawful Custody after he allegedly escaped from the custody of the police.

As expected his freedom on the 62 square mile island was short-lived and he was quickly recaptured.
