BODY OF ANDRE SIMON FLOWN HOME; ESCORTED FROM AIRPORT BY POLICE AND CYCLISTS

The body of Andre Simon was flown into Antigua Friday afternoon.
There were poignant scenes as national cyclists rode behind police escorts during a convoy which took Simon’s body to Barnes Funeral Home.
The funeral will take place next month.
Simon died in a Texas hospital earlier this month, 13 months after being hit from his bicycle by a motorist on Sir George Walter Highway.
