Butch Stewart speaks on Benefits of Concessions

As Antigua and Barbuda prepares to break ground on the Sandals Beaches Project in Long Bay year end, the government is being criticized for the level of concessions being given.

Chairman of the Sandals Group Gordon “Butch” Stewart says the benefits to be derived from the project, described as the single largest hotel development ever to take place in the twin island state, far outweighs any concessions given.

Tracelyn Cornelius- Hernandez was among a group of specially invited media practitioners visiting the recently constructed Sandals La Source in Grenada to cover a Stakeholder Appreciation ceremony.

As she reports that country is already benefiting from the resort, which had a soft launch just six weeks ago.
