CMO breaks down latest Covid 19 cases

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rhonda Sealey Thomas has provided a breakdown of the six most recent cases of Covid 19 in Antigua and Barbuda.

Among them are five females with the youngest patient being 4 years old. The eldest is 67.

Speaking on our newscast on Sunday, she revealed that five of the cases were linked to one case while the other is attributed to a separate index case.

She confirmed that the six persons have not travelled out of the state.

Even though not there as yet, Dr. Sealey Thomas says they are also closely watching to see if Antigua is moving closer to community transmission.

She is also encouraging persons to be more attentive to the various preventive measures that are proving effective in limiting the spread of Covid 19.
