Dr. Philmore Benjamin Speaks on Election Campaign

St. John’s, Antigua – A newcomer on the ruling United Progressive Party (UPP) ticket, aiming for the St. John’s Rural South seat, Dr. Philmore Benjamin, who has been canvassing in his constituency for two years, says the reception has been good.

Benjamin speaks of his party’s achievements in the areas of security, employment and infrastructural development.

Benjamin points to the progress made in the delivery of health care with extended housed at poly clinics and the further plans to utilize Cuban trained doctors.

Dr. Benjamin says his motivation in politics comes from his belief that he can positively impact the lives of people.
