Education Minister Joins CARICOM Colleagues for Crucial Talks In Guyana

Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Daryll Matthew, is attending the 52nd meeting of the Caricom Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) on Education in Guyana.

The meeting is being held under the theme, “Educating for Life, Purpose and Caribbean Progress,” from August 12 to 13.

Minister Matthew has joined fellow Caricom education ministers and other regional stakeholders to discuss key issues, including micro-credentialling, strengthening mathematics education and advancing the teaching profession.

A release from the Ministry quotes Minister Matthew reaffirming Antigua and Barbuda’s commitment to work with Caricom partners to strengthen education and create opportunities for Caribbean students and educators.
