GATE ICT Program

The Government Assisted Technology Endeavour (GATE) Programme continues to make strides, having touched the lives of thousands of the nation’s youth. The programe has several components to include the ICT Cadet, the E-Education Computer Tablet and E-Education Connectivity distribution project and E-Government modernization.

GATE Project Co-ordinator Ashton Feron gives an update on the ICT program at the recently opened GATE facility, the fourth component.

One facet of the ICT Cadet program also offers training in servicing and maintenance.

The GATE programme is a partnership between the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and telecommunications provider, Digicel. -30-
