GOVERNMENT DISCONTINUES DISCRETIONARY WAIVERS TO IMPROVE FISCAL ACCOUNTS

The Government has discontinued the granting of discretionary waivers on the payment of duty, ABST, Revenue Recovery Charge and the environmental levy
The move became effective on January 1, 2024, and is expected to plug the leakage of around 10 million dollars in revenues due to these waivers.
