GOVERNMENT MOVES TO EXPUNGE SOME OFFENCES FROM CRIMINAL RECORDS

The Government is moving to expunge minor convictions from people’s criminal records to remove hindrances to employment and other opportunities.
Attorney General Hon. Steadroy Benjamin says this is being done based on legislation originally passed in 2013.
