Ground Breaking Ceremonies Set For Late January

Two ground breaking ceremonies that will signal the start of construction on two major tourism-related projects are taking place later this month.

And according to Chief of Staff, Ambassador Lionel Max Hurst…this is a clear sign that the government is serious about addressing the country’s three main issues.

In his New Year’s Message, Prime Minister Hon Gaston Browne, says reducing the country’s fiscal deficit…tackling unemployment and fighting crime…are the government’s top priorities this year.

Hurst says getting these projects off the ground will address all three concerns.

The Chief of Staff says the other ground breaking is slated for Willowby Bay near St Phillip.

Hurst says these projects will have much spin-offs…creating many jobs in other sectors of the economy.
